The Bentz familyOur History
A family story, rooted in the Moselle.
1933
The beginning
Joseph Bentz founds the estate in Bech-Kleinmacher.
1968
An enduring emblem
Dr. Jean-Claude Loutsch designs the Domaine's distinctive leafy vine emblem.
1986
A new winery
The modern winery is built in Remich.
1993
Precision in the cellar
Claude Bentz becomes Luxembourg's first independent winemaker to introduce computer-aided temperature regulation.
1995
Opening the doors
The Domaine begins its public open-house tradition, combining wine tastings with exhibitions by Luxembourg-based artists.
2001
Fournisseur de la Cour
Domaine Claude Bentz becomes an official supplier to the Grand Ducal Court of Luxembourg.
2022
Wine, architecture & nature
The Domaine inaugurates its new building on June 1, introducing a luminous event space within the gardens with seating for 108 guests.
